Children's Privacy
Our position under COPPA, the GDPR, Australia's Children's Online Privacy Code, and US app-store age-signal laws.

None of our apps are directed to children. Bilingual Baby and Best Dad are about children, but the user is a parent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There is no account in any of our apps, and information recorded about a child is held on the device and is not transmitted to us.
There is no advertising in any of our apps, no advertising identifier is collected, and nothing is sold or shared.
App by app
Bilingual Baby
The app coaches the parent on how to interact with their baby in English. You may enter your child’s date of birth or age band so the content matches their stage. That is held on the device. This app makes no network requests.
Bilingual Baby is published under a personal Apple developer account rather than Leap Studio’s. See its privacy policy.
Best Dad
Guidance for a new father through the first year, used by the father. Details you record about your baby — age, feeding, sleep, milestones — are health information about a child. They are stored on the device only and are not transmitted. The app makes no network requests.
See its privacy policy.
Our other apps
Cloister AI, Auto Brightness Clock and Jesus — WWJD are general-audience apps, not directed to children and not designed for them.
Jesus — WWJD is written and rated for an adult audience and is not recommended for unsupervised use by a child.
COPPA (United States)
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act applies to operators of online services directed to children under 13, or who have actual knowledge that they collect personal information from a child under 13.
Neither limb applies. Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we have no actual knowledge of collecting a child’s personal information.
Information a parent records about their own child on their own device is not personal information collected by an operator.
We collect none of the categories added by the FTC’s amended COPPA Rule.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, write to contact@leapstudio.dev and we will delete it.
GDPR and UK GDPR
Article 8 sets a digital-age-of-consent between 13 and 16 depending on the member state, for information society services offered directly to a child relying on consent.
Our apps are not offered directly to children, and where we rely on consent it is a parent’s consent to an optional feature on their own device.
Recital 38 requires specific protection for children’s personal data. We do not collect it. There is no profiling, advertising or marketing in any of our apps.
Australia: the Children’s Online Privacy Code
The Privacy and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2024 requires the Information Commissioner to develop a Children’s Online Privacy Code, to be registered by December 2026. It will apply to services likely to be accessed by children.
Our apps collect no personal information from children, use no profiling and carry no advertising.
Age signals from app stores
Several US states — including Texas, whose App Store Accountability Act took effect on 1 January 2026, and Utah — now require app stores to verify a user’s age and pass an age signal to developers, with parental consent for minors’ downloads.
Apple provides a Declared Age Range capability. Where an app of ours is subject to these requirements, the signal will be used only to meet the legal obligation — not for analytics or personalisation, and not stored on any server.
We currently collect no age signal. If that changes, this page and the affected app’s privacy policy will be updated first.
Parental rights
If you are a parent or guardian and want to review, correct or delete information about your child:
The information is held on your device, inside the app. Deleting it in the app, or deleting the app, removes it permanently. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.
If you believe we hold information about your child, write to contact@leapstudio.dev.
