Acceptable Use Policy
What our apps may not be used for.

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
Prohibited use
You must not use our apps:
- to commit an offence, to plan one, or to process material that is unlawful to possess;
- to harass, stalk, threaten, defame or impersonate any person;
- to produce material that sexualises children, incites violence, or targets a person or group for abuse;
- to circumvent licensing or subscription checks, or to tamper with an app binary to obtain paid features;
- to interfere with any service our apps depend on;
- to present output from our apps as professional advice from us, as verified fact, or as the work of a human expert;
- to claim our apps are certified, accredited or endorsed by any person or body.
Your responsibility for third-party information
If you enter another person’s personal information into one of our apps, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for meeting any obligations that attach to it under your profession or jurisdiction.
Redaction features are a tool and are not a guarantee. Verify the output before relying on it.
AI output
Our apps generate text using language models. That output may be inaccurate and must be verified before use.
- Cloister AI is not a lawyer, accountant or clinician.
- Best Dad provides general parenting information and is not a doctor, midwife or nurse. It does not diagnose and must not be used to decide whether to seek medical care.
- Jesus — WWJD is an aid to reflection. It is not doctrine, pastoral counselling or spiritual direction, and does not replace the Sacrament of Confession.
Emergencies
Our apps are not emergency services. In Australia, emergencies are 000 and Lifeline is 13 11 14.
Professional and regulated use
Using an app on your own device does not discharge any professional obligation that applies to you.
Breach
We may terminate your licence under section 10 of the Terms of Service. Where a breach is capable of remedy and no person has been harmed, we will identify the problem and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it first.
